AdProMax Studio or Shopify: which one for selling with cash on delivery?
Shopify is the most complete ecommerce platform, with thousands of apps and card payments. Cash on delivery is a manual payment method there: the order stays pending until you mark it as paid. AdProMax Studio is built around that payment, with landing pages made for ads.

What is the main difference between AdProMax Studio and Shopify?
Shopify is designed for online payment. Its checkout, Shopify Payments, its markets and most of its apps assume the customer pays by card when ordering. Cash on delivery exists, but as a manual method: the order arrives as pending, and it is up to you to mark it as paid once the money is collected.
AdProMax Studio starts from the other end. The customer orders without paying, in a short form on the page; you confirm by phone; the courier collects. Every step has its status, and Google Sheets receives orders live for the confirmation team.
The other difference is advertising. Shopify relies on apps for Meta and TikTok tracking. AdProMax Studio builds in the pixels, the Meta Conversions API and the TikTok Events API, with the same purchase ID on both sides to avoid duplicates.
When should you choose Shopify?
Shopify remains the best choice if your customers mostly pay by card, if you sell internationally with advanced tax and logistics needs, or if you rely on an app ecosystem for everything else: loyalty, subscriptions, reviews, email.
It is also the right choice for a brand that wants one platform for online and in-store selling, with a physical point of sale, and public prices you can compare before signing up.
When should you choose AdProMax Studio?
AdProMax Studio suits sellers in Morocco and the Arab world whose customers pay on delivery and whose sales come from Facebook, TikTok or Snapchat. The form, the confirmation and the statuses are designed for that path, with no app to add.
It also suits teams of media buyers, who launch many pages and need each person to have their own stores, products and orders. AI creation gives you a landing page in minutes, in French, Arabic or Darija, with the right-to-left layout already in place.
Do you have to leave Shopify to sell with COD?
No. If your Shopify store sells well by card, keep it. Many sellers split their two audiences: the store for customers who pay online, and cash-on-delivery landing pages for campaigns aimed at buyers who prefer to pay on receipt.
In that set-up, AdProMax Studio handles the COD campaign pages: AI creation, a short form, confirmation and statuses, pixels with server-side sending. COD orders stay in the AdProMax console and your Google sheet, apart from your Shopify orders.
You can then compare, campaign by campaign, the cost of a delivered order on each side, and decide where to put your ad budget.
How do you move from Shopify to AdProMax Studio?
You can keep your Shopify store and test AdProMax Studio on one COD campaign.
- 01
Get access
AdProMax Studio works by invitation: your organization is given access, then you sign in at app.adpromax.store.
- 02
Rebuild your product page
Paste the link to your product page or landing page: the AI rebuilds it as a real page, with the cash-on-delivery form.
- 03
Connect your pixels
Add your Meta and TikTok pixels, then the Conversions API and Events API tokens for server-side sending.
- 04
Publish
On the free adpromax.store address, on a domain you connect, or on a .shop domain bought from the console.
- 05
Compare delivered orders
Point one campaign at the page and compare confirmed, then delivered, orders, not just reported purchases.
Frequently asked questions
Does Shopify accept cash on delivery?
Yes, as a manual payment method. The order stays pending until you mark it as paid, and Shopify does not charge third-party transaction fees on manual payments.
Is AdProMax Studio a Shopify alternative for COD?
Yes, if your customers pay on delivery and your sales come from ads. For card payments, advanced international selling or a wide choice of apps, Shopify remains more complete.
Can I use both at the same time?
Yes. Many sellers keep their store and test COD landing pages alongside it. Every AdProMax order arrives in its own console, with its statuses.
How much does AdProMax Studio cost?
AdProMax Studio works by invitation and does not publish a price list. AI creations use credits allocated to your organization, with the cost shown before each creation.
Does AdProMax Studio have an app store?
No. Pixels, Google Tag Manager, Google Sheets and custom code are built in. For needs covered by apps, such as subscriptions or loyalty, Shopify is better equipped.
Do AdProMax pages display Arabic right to left?
Yes. In Arabic and Darija, the whole page mirrors from right to left, with no special theme to pick. On Shopify, it depends on the theme's compatibility.
Do COD orders show up in Shopify?
No. Orders placed on an AdProMax page arrive in the AdProMax console and in your Google sheet if you connect one. They stay separate from your Shopify orders.
Which one costs less to start?
Shopify publishes its prices, from $39 a month on the Basic plan, or $29 billed yearly. AdProMax Studio works by invitation without a public price list, so ask for access to know the terms for your organization.
